KCB Group Visit to UoK

On Wednesday 11th June, 2025, the University of Kabianga was privileged to receive a delegation from Kenya Commercial Bank led by David Kemei the Regional  Relationship Manager, John Mutai of Corporate Services, Eric Obwaya from Cash Management and Scandy Langat who is the Branch Manager. They were also accompanied by Terry Rono.

The bank promised to fund the phase II of the concrete benches at a cost of  Ksh 300,000 which shall soon be released as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).They have also been able to offer attachment slots to most of our students. The bank further promised to partner with the university in the upcoming research conference to be held in October and they vowed to ensure robust and real time operations.Present was Prof. Maurice Odour who represented the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eric Koech (Ph.D, MBS), Prof. Isaac Naibei and CPA Erick Ngeny.
