University of Kabianga and Co-operative Bank Partner for Enhanced Cashless Payment Solutions

On Wednesday, 16th September, 2026, the Management of University of Kabianga hosted a delegation from the Co-operative Bank of Kenya for a courtesy call focused on exploring ways to enhance efficiency in revenue collection and payment processing.

The engagement provided an opportunity to discuss enhanced cashless payment solutions designed to streamline financial operations, simplify transactions and improve service delivery for the students and stakeholders. The bank team shared innovative digital solutions aimed at supporting the University in strengthening its financial processes and embracing technology for greater operational efficiency.

The Cooperative Bank delegation comprised of Ms. Agnes Njambi (Head of Cash Management), Ms. Jasmine Chepsergon (Relationship Manager, Education & Financial Services), Mr. Harun Mwangi (Cash Management, Head Office) and Mr. Vincent Lagat (Branch Manager, Kericho Branch).

Prof. Eric Koech the University's Vice-Chancellor flanked by Prof. Isaac Naibei, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance) and CPA Erick Ngeny (Acting Finance Officer) shared mutual benefits of collaboration between the University and Cooperative Bank.
