University of Kabianga's School of Health Sciences Welcomes 2026/2027 First-year Cohort at Kapkatet Campus

University of Kabianga, School of Health Sciences,  successfully concluded it's orientation programme for the 2026/2027 First-year Students at Kapkatet Campus, which ran from September 16th - 18th, 2026. The programme began on Wednesday 16th September, 2026 with vital sessions dedicated to student success and well-being, which covered essential services such as campus safety, mental health counseling, career guidance and HELB funding navigation.

The momentum carried on into Thursday with an address from Deputy Vice-Chancellors, which set a strong foundation for the academic path ahead. The entire experience peaked on Friday, 18th September, 2026 with a keynote address by Prof. Eric Koech (PhD; MBS), the University Vice-Chancellor, who officially ushered the new students into the university community.

As these future healthcare professionals step into lecture halls, laboratories and practical clinical spaces, they carry forward a shared commitment to Innovation and Excellence. The university fraternity wishes them a transformative, impactful and fulfilling academic journey ahead.
