The Commission for University Education (CUE) Visit

The Commission for University Education (CUE) conducted a research study on 21st May, 2025 to assess how universities are adapting to the opportunities and challenges of disruptive technologies in university education. The research study was motivated by the need to assess how disruptive technologies like online learning platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) have reshaped the traditional Kenyan University set-up.

In welcoming the visitors from CUE, the University of Kabianga team was led by Prof. Maurice Oduor (who represented the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Eric Koech). He was flanked by Prof.Paul Onsare, Dr. Phanice Wangila and Dr. Reuben Lang'at. The CUE team included Dr. James K. Ngugi, Adrian Mugambi, Brian Mwenda and Lucia Muia.
