University of Kabianga Hosts High Schools Students for Academic and Career Mentorship

On Friday 15th May, 2026, the University of Kabianga hosted students from Chelanet Girls High School, Cheborge Boys Secondary School, and Bukunye Secondary School for an academic visit. The Dean of Students Office received the visiting teams and engaged them in vital conversations regarding future career paths and opportunities in higher education.

​During the session, the students had an opportunity of hearing from a panel of speakers who shared invaluable insights on career choices, university life and inclusive education. The featured speakers included Dr. Emily Keter, the Career and Placement Officer, Mr. Erick Makokha, Officer In-charge of Special Needs and Rev. Samson Abong', the University Chaplain who also addressed the students as a representative of the Dean of Students Dr. Peter Ngugi.

​The University of Kabianga remains committed to guiding and inspiring the next generation of leaders, scholars and innovators. This visit sparked big dreams and a passion for excellence in every student who attended. Applauding the students for their enthusiasm and sharp engagement, the university looks forward to welcoming these bright minds back as official undergraduate students in the near future.
